Garden Sheds Arbroath

Arbroath is an ancient town located near the mouth of the Firth of Tay. The history of human habitation in  the area goes back to the bronze age, and Pictish stone carvings were among the stones used to build Arbroath Abbey, which spurred the growth of the town. The Abbey was completed in  1178 and is now in ruins and popular with visitors.

Arbroath was a major manufacturer of oiled jute for sails in Victorian times, and in the twentieth century, its port housed a fishing fleet. Today, Arbroath hosts a military base and is a commuter town for Dundee.  It still processes fish and is especially well known for its delicious Arbroath smokies.
